This is a wonderful deveolpment! Not entirely unexpected, as sooner or later like-minded people were going to meet-up in person. The idea had entered my imagination before (as I am sure it did others) but as I don't blog, and I am already committed to writing a book, I stayed silent. I salute those pioneers who have gone ahead and made it a reality.I did sign up to the initial 910 Group --- it was in fact me who first suggested it needed a more meaningful name! --- but I had to end my association shortly after for similar reasons to above: I could not cope with the voluminous 910 correspondence whilst doing my research and writing. We owe the Baron a big thank-you because after all, it is he who has flown all the way to Denmark to attend this inaugural conference. The only other person travelling such a distance would have been Paul Belien. Fjordman's whereabouts remains a mystery. That is the kind of commitment that should inspire more of us to venture forth in real time.Dymphna / Baron / Others ... how about drawing up Articles of Association? This could lead to the option of a subscription membership. I'd be happy to donate a fixed sum (per annum) to help this thing along. The Internet has taken us a long way, but pamphlets and flyers will be required at some point, especially if, as suggested in your (Dymphna's) report, there is to be a demo in Brussels later this year. You will have to hand out something to the public. What about $50 per annum? The USA is full of Islamic advocacy groups claiming charitable status (mostly dubiously) so we could set up one of our own. Such organization could lead eventually to an Annual Conference somewhere. Anyone else agree?I am writing from Asia. I can't be more specific than that for obvious security reasons. If I succeed with my current writing efforts, many of you attending this Gates of Vienna Blogsite are going to be interested in having a copy, as it is entirely relevant to the goals of the 910 Group. If I do get it out of the way successfully (writing a book is not easy!) then I will later try to contribute perspectives from this part of the world.
